Gurgaon is one of the cities of Haryana and surrounds Delhi
from its southern side and south western side. The place was primary developed
the government into an industrial hub, inviting corporate and industries to
start their manufacturing plants as well as centralize the corporate offices
there. Related measures were taken to facilitate the growth of industries in
this area. Few top builders were invited to persuade their large business plans
and execute basic infrastructure to the city. One of such developers is called
DLP, who not only started developing the commercial and residential buildings
in the late 1990s but has also provided a root level infrastructure development
to the city.
There are tall buildings with ultra modern shape and size,
most of which are designed and developed on the patterns of European and Arabic
pattern. To the best of believe, even the architects deployed on the projects
were also brought from the same countries. Entire area and land acquisition
were done on large scale by the construction companies such as GMR, DLF,
UNITECH etc. These land acquisition was done from the local farmers of the area
by paying them hefty prices. Most of these lands were used to develop multi
story complexes and buildings. All of these to add in the development of the
city Gurgaon. A new route for NH-8 was also passed keeping the development in
view. This Hi way route was also planned extraordinarily by sub letting the
development to other such agencies on the revenue sharing model. These
companies had done their investment by creating the infrastructure and the
money so vested will be recovered by the imposing the toll charges on the
travelers. With Delhi airport at the
closes proximity or the at the border Gurgaon city got the boost from the
residents as well. There were large number of people migrated from the neighboring
cities like Delhi, Noida & Ghaziabad. Hospitals were setup for the
treatment of diseases like Hepatitis, Kala Azar, cancer and other related
diseases. Different healthcare companies were set for the treatment of people
living in the area. Pharma Company in Gurgaon, which also kept their
manufacturing plant in Haryana along with their corporate offices too.
All together, Gurgaon gained its
own importance of being a metropolitan city, which had numerous corporate
companies, hospitals and other different commercial segments. Not only this,
Gurgaon has also become one of the desirable places to live. This also raised
the accommodation and property rates of the area.
